So far things have been going by fast; however, I've been able to develop better writing skills along the way. Professor Simon does a good job by going over grammar in class, and now I have a better understanding of run-on sentences, and comma splice, and where they are in my sentences. Even though she has help me with my grammar it is still an issue that I have to work on in my writing, so I am able to pass my portfolio. Going to the Writing Reading Learning Center is something that has helped me a lot this semester, and the tutors provide the answers for all the questions that I have about my essay. Going to the WRLC is something that I did more often than last semester, and it is really beneficial. Overall this class has been a preparation because in a way it makes you work hard, and it eventually grows on you, which prepares you not only for ENGL 101, but also prepares you for classes at four year universities.

     

I believe one reason why we are so addicted to our phones is because we don’t want to miss out, we need to know what is going on in the world around us. Whether it has to do with you, or your friends or even people that we don’t know like celebrities, it is like a must for us to be on top of new information and to do so we stay connected with social media or getting text messages from friends. And also phones in today society can do everything you can use it as a newspaper, a radio, even a computer, anything that we need is on our phones I don’t think that there is anything that we can’t do on our phones.

           Things are pretty easy for me, as of right now I don't work so all my focus will be primarily on school, especially this class. To be real with myself not only in this class but my other classes i have to stay focus on doing my work, studying, and also don't cheat myself when it comes to meeting deadlines, and requirements. In order to all those things i having to be willing to come in and get help when i need it which mean going to see my professor for help, or in this particular class i have two options where i can either go see professor Simon or go to the WRLC. I also have enough time to do all my work from every class that I take so I shouldn't have an excuse on not doing my work. honestly if i can do all this the outcome for each and everyone of my classes will be a good one.
